Easy hookup to tractor drawbar
1000-rpm overrunning clutch

1000-rpm overrunning clutch

An overrunning clutch is located near the platform gearcase. This design enables free rotation of the tractor hookup to make attaching to the tractor easier.

On 540-rpm machines (optional on the 630 MoCo only), a slip clutch is incorporated into the overrunning clutch to provide protection to the platform. No clutch is required on 1000-rpm machines due to reduced torque loads.

Clevis hitch

Clevis hitch

The clevis hitch is in base equipment. This design attaches directly to the tractor drawbar for operator convenience. The heavy-duty clevis design provides a strong attaching point to the drawbar.

For added convenience, the hitch-pin retaining bracket can also be used to store the PTO shaft when the machine is not attached to the tractor.

The clevis hitch is designed to be towed by a tractor only and includes a screw jack and safety chain.

Drawbar extension

Drawbar extension

Drawbar equal-angle hitch is optional equipment. The ball-joint hitch includes:
  • Ball-joint hitch—to be installed on the mower-conditioner tongue
  • Tractor hookup
  • Drawbar extension—to be bolted onto the tractor drawbar
The drawbar equal-angle hitch is designed to be towed by a tractor only and includes a screw jack and safety chain.
Swivel hitch

Swivel hitch

For added maneuverability, the 630 and 635 MoCos have an optional rockshaft swivel hitch available.

The rockshaft swivel hitch is only available for tractors equipped with a 1000 rpm PTO. It is compatible with Category 2 or 3N 3-point hitches and can be used with or without a quick-hitch.

Using a rockshaft swivel hitch makes it easier to cut square corners without repositioning the platform using tractor hydraulics. The added maneuverability also makes it easier to cut around field obstacles.

U-joint angles of the tractor driveline remain constant to reduce driveline noise and vibration.

A spring-pin equipped parking stand enables the operator to quickly and easily attach or detach the machine. A powerline support cable keeps the driveline off the ground when the machine is detached from the tractor.
