Central Insecticide System on 1770NT Central Commodity System (CCS™)

The Central Insecticide System (CIS) is designed to work with Force® CS, which is an updated, soil-applied insecticide designed to deliver consistent performance in an advanced, convenient, liquid formulation. The innovative design of CIS incorporates many user-friendly features such as closed handling, central fill, direct injection, and industry-leading row-to-row accuracy. 
 
The Central Insecticide System consists of six major components:
  1. Insecticide cabinet
  2. Water tank(s)
  3. Pump and valve assembly
  4. Flow monitors
  5. Nozzles
  6. Controller/monitor
CIS draws Force CS from its closed packaging within the product cabinet and then directly injects the concentrate into water. Force CS is mixed with water and then travels out to a visible flow monitoring system. From the flow monitor, product is delivered to individual row units and applied in a T-band pattern over the seed furrow. A convenient in-cab monitor and controller allows the operator to set, adjust, and monitor product application rates.
