| For those who want to get more productivity out of the 7020 and 7030 Series Large-Frame Tractors, one factory-installed or two field-installed front hitches are available.
Option code 9065 provides a factory-installed front hitch with 11,450-lb (5200-kg) lift capacity. It may also be ordered for field installation. This hitch is suitable for use under normal conditions including primary tillage equipment or lifting heavy implements.
The hitch styling is in line with the tractor, and the frame design provides excellent maneuverability, even when used with large tractor tires. Furthermore, with the compact design there is only a 13-in. (330-mm) overhang from the front face when the arms are folded.
NOTE: 7020 and 7030 Series Large-Frame Tractors factory-installed hitch tractors do NOT ship with a front weight support (which accommodates the Quik-Tatch weights).

A field-installed front hitch is available from John Deere. The specifications for the hitch are identical to the factory-installed version, but the field-installed version does not include a pair of front couplers. Service parts and warranty for the factory- or field-installed front hitches are administered through John Deere.

Two field-installed front hitches are available from Laforge® Systems, Inc. for the 7020 and 7030 Series Large-Frame Tractors with mechanical front-wheel drive (MFWD) or Triple-Link Suspension II (TLS II™). Laforge front 3-point systems are classified as either "standard" or "premium." Available hitch models include the GreenLink® St3/7 standard hitch and 80/7 premium hitch. Laforge front hitches are designed to be compatible with John Deere front PTO units. Field-installed hitches will be operated through an SCV. All hitch models are designed for full clearance and do not limit the turning radius at any tread width setting.

GreenLink St3/7
The GreenLink St3/7 is the standard hitch, intended for medium-sized secondary tillage equipment (seedbed preparation), carrier applications, PTO-driven implements, and light finishing equipment.
This hitch has a 27.6-in. (700-mm) lift range, 6600-lb (3000-kg) lift capacity, Category 3 lower links (Cat. 2 balls included) and a Cat. 2 upper link with storage position.
When in the raised position, the ground clearance is identical to the clearance under the front axle. And when the hitch is folded, the overhang is reduced to 14 inches (350 mm).
The GreenLink St3/7 adds 500 lb of additional weight to the front of the tractor.

GreenLink 80/7
The GreenLink 80/7, the premium hitch, is recommended for the most demanding applications. It is designed for extreme stress from pushing hard on tillage implements, very wide implements, severe shock loads, or other heavy-duty applications. Premium hitches are also well suited for mounting 3-point blades.
This front hitch features a 31.5-in. (800-mm) lift range, 12,320-lb (5600-kg) lift capacity, Category 3 lower links and a Cat. 3 upper link with storage position. A reinforcing push bar is in base specification.
The GreenLink 80/7 adds 1250 lb of additional weight to the front of the tractor.
