The XUV 850D and XUX 850D LE are powered by an 854 cc (0.854 L), three-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-cycle Yanmar diesel engine. It produces 36.9 lb-ft of torque (5.1 kgm) @ 2400 rpm. The advanced engine delivers superb starting, idling, and throttle response during operation. With minimal noise vibration and harshness (NVH), the 850D is the smoothest and quietest running diesel in its class.
