| The five-bar coil-tine harrow is included in base equipment on the 2330 Mulch Finisher. This harrow offers excellent residue flow with the added benefit of increased soil leveling and mixing.
Compared to the four-bar coil-tine harrow on the 2230 Field Cultivators, the five-bar coil-tine adds an extra row with knock-down tines. The knock-down tines are heavy-duty coil-tines like the ones used on the 2410 Chisel Plow. The knock-down tines are strategically positioned 457 mm (18 in.) apart behind the shanks to manage the higher levels of residue coming through the 2330 Mulch Finisher.

As part of John Deere’s ProFinish™ Leveling System, the coil-tine harrow enables producers to leave a consistent field finish with higher amounts of residue on the top of the field. Consistent down pressure is maintained throughout the harrow range as well as through changing ground contours thanks to a parallel linkage system.
The updated design allows the coil-tines to swing forward during turning operations and helps to keep coil-tines from binding. Coil-tine angle and down pressure can be independently adjusted for greater customization to help ensure level performance across the field, even in low spots.

Pin adjustments make it quick and easy to independently change the angle and down pressure for the coil-tines without the use of tools. There are three settings for down pressure and five angle adjustments ranging from 36 to 75 degrees to provide operators with flexibility to respond to changing field conditions.
